Large Scale Maize/Flour Corn Processing Plant
Different from the traditional process of milling maize, we adopt dry method to process maize for making grits with different sizes and very fine flour at the same time(we also can get only flour from this machine). Our customers don't have to find the solution to dry the animal feed which will low the cost at most degree.
1. raw maize acceptance
Between maize storage/silo and our whole plant, there is supposed to be a wall and under the ground, a pit will be built to receive the maize. The first set of bucket elevator is set underground to collect maize and elevated to the next process
2. raw maize cleaning
We place one set of vibrating sieve to remove coarse and fine impurities like cobs, sands, leaves, small rocks, etc from raw maize; later will go through one set of de-stoner to remove stones that are similar shape with maize specially. There is magnetci box at the entrance of each machine to collect megnetic foreign materials.
3. peeling and degerming
We will allocate this part according to customers' needs. Usually we place two sets of emery roller dehuller and one set of iron roller peeler with polisher to peel and degerminate. After these three machines, we can remove mostly of the husks and germs from maize. Equipped with air blowers and cyclone catchers, dust and husks with germs will be collected separately. The working condition of this part will determine the quality of final grits and flour.
4. crushing and milling
The dehulled maize will go through hammer mill and single passage roller mill/double roller mill for further processing, with grading plan-sifter, polisher, gravity table, separating sieve, etc we will get grits with different sizes and flour at the certain outlets.
Parameter of Corn Processing Plant :
A:corn grits: 45-55%; corn meal/corn flour: 30-30%; animal feed: 20-25% The total rate of corn grits and flour is about 75%-80%.we can adjust the rate of output according to our customer's demands the flour special purpose,
